The Sandroine Awards 1963 ballot picks Jeanne Moreau as Lead Actress, Burt Lancaster as Lead Actor, Ayako Wakao as Supporting Actress and Tsutomu Yamazaki as Supporting Actor. It is a personal, alternative ranking of the year's best acting performances in cinema: the top five in each of the four acting categories, with performances from around the world next to the usual favourites. 17 of the 20 picks on the 1963 ballot are from outside the United States (France, Belgium, Japan, Sweden and Italy).
