The Sandroine Awards 1964 ballot picks Monica Vitti as Lead Actress, Yûzô Kayama as Lead Actor, Ayako Wakao as Supporting Actress and Gian Maria Volonté as Supporting Actor. It is a personal, alternative ranking of the year's best acting performances in cinema: the top five in each of the four acting categories, with performances from around the world next to the usual favourites. 14 of the 17 picks on the 1964 ballot are from outside the United States (Italy, Japan, France, Denmark, Ireland and England).
