The Sandroine Awards 1977 ballot picks Geraldine Chaplin as Lead Actress, Borís Plótnikov as Lead Actor, Lisa Kreuzer as Supporting Actress and Dennis Hopper as Supporting Actor. It is a personal, alternative ranking of the year's best acting performances in cinema: the top five in each of the four acting categories, with performances from around the world next to the usual favourites. 12 of the 19 picks on the 1977 ballot are from outside the United States (Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and France).
