The Sandroine Awards 1993 ballot picks Holly Hunter as Lead Actress, Leslie Cheung as Lead Actor, Gong Li as Supporting Actress and Alan Alda as Supporting Actor. It is a personal, alternative ranking of the year's best acting performances in cinema: the top five in each of the four acting categories, with performances from around the world next to the usual favourites. 11 of the 20 picks on the 1993 ballot are from outside the United States (France, Hong Kong, Spain, England, Italy, China, New Zealand, Ireland and Taiwan).
