The Sandroine Awards 2000 ballot picks Zhang Ziyi as Lead Actress, Tony Leung as Lead Actor, Juliette Binoche as Supporting Actress and Chang Chen as Supporting Actor. It is a personal, alternative ranking of the year's best acting performances in cinema: the top five in each of the four acting categories, with performances from around the world next to the usual favourites. 15 of the 16 picks on the 2000 ballot are from outside the United States (China, Hong Kong, France, South Korea, England, Malaysia, Spain, Taiwan and Japan).
