2006 acting ballot: best lead and supporting performances

The Sandroine Awards 2006 ballot picks Penélope Cruz as Lead Actress, Anders Danielsen Lie as Lead Actor, Carmen Maura as Supporting Actress and Han Sanming as Supporting Actor. It is a personal, alternative ranking of the year's best acting performances in cinema: the top five in each of the four acting categories, with performances from around the world next to the usual favourites. 16 of the 18 picks on the 2006 ballot are from outside the United States (Spain, Scotland, Japan, China, Norway, England, South Korea and Iran).
