The Sandroine Awards 2021 ballot picks Renate Reinsve as Lead Actress, Hidetoshi Nishijima as Lead Actor, Mia Wasikowska as Supporting Actress and Masaki Okada as Supporting Actor. It is a personal, alternative ranking of the year's best acting performances in cinema: the top five in each of the four acting categories, with performances from around the world next to the usual favourites. 15 of the 20 picks on the 2021 ballot are from outside the United States (Norway, Romania, Spain, Japan, France, England, Australia, Ethiopia and Ireland).
